Human Design: Arrows + Manifesting
Imagine ditching all the “rules” and doing things the way you really truly want to do them. Understanding your Human Design can give you the permission slip to do just that.
Earlier this year, I felt surrounded by shoulds. I kept hearing, “You should be super specific about your goals and how much money you want to make in your business.” And “You need to specify exactly what you want in the next five years.” And... and... and...
I heard this so much that I finally caved and tried to be specific about all of those things.
Here’s what happened: Nothing. Actually, it felt more like negative nothing because I suddenly felt out of flow — like I was trying to push a bus up a hill.
Guess what: I’m not supposed to be specific.
In Human Design, some people are specific manifestors and some people are non-specific manifestors. If you look at your chart, you will see two arrows on either side of the head of the bodygraph. These arrows will either point to the right or the left. We're looking at the arrow on the bottom right.
If that arrow points to the LEFT, you are a specific manifestor. That means that strategies and 5-year plans and vision boards are for you. If you want to get super specific about your next client or how much money you're going to make or how much you're going to pay for a new refrigerator, do it! The universe will deliver.
If that arrow points to the RIGHT, you are a non-specific manifestor. When/if you try strategies, the 5-year plans or getting super specific about your desires, you will block your flow. That's not how we roll. Instead of the gripping energy of specific manifesting, we receive with an open palm. We are in flow when we ask the universe to bring us what's for the highest good of all. Maybe we say, "I want to receive financial abundance for being my authentic self." Or maybe it’s, "Show me how to bring Human Design to more people." Or simply, "Show me." The future is not our business. We're not here to make it happen. We're here to be curious and discover what's going to happen.
And this, my friends, is your permission slip to do life your own damn way.
