Human Design: The Sacral Game

I’ve been leaning into the Human Design Experiment a lot lately by playing the sacral game.

If you’re a Manifesting Generator or a Generator, you can play too.

It goes like this: Ask yourself a yes or no question and allow your body to answer it (not your head!). The sacral will answer with a “yes” or a “no”—anything else is coming from your head. A sacral “yes” will come with a feeling of excitement. If the excitement isn’t there, it’s not a “yes.”

When you get a “yes,” follow it. When you get a “no,” let it go.

I’ve asked myself questions like:

Do you want to read this book?

Do you want to go on social media?

Do you want kale salad?

Do you want a portobello burger?

Do you want to work with this person?

This experiment has already been a game-changer for me, taking my relationship with social media from intentional (setting strong boundaries around when I would log on to social media and what I would do when I was there) to inspired (only logging in when my body says, “hell yes”).

As MGs and Generators, we are here to elevate the world by being sparklyAF. And to be sparklyAF, we need to do the things that light us up—and that means following our sacral yesses.
