listen up Generators + MGs

During a recent group coaching call, I remembered a client I had years ago.

She was a coach, living in Germany, who decided to have an online event.

I asked her, “Are you ready? What time is the event?”

“2am.”

“Um, excuse me? Why 2am?”

“Well, everyone who is coming to the event is in the states – it's so much easier for them.”

Whoa. The people who signed up for her event signed up to be in HER sparkly energy. She was not going to be sparkly at 2am.

✨ Listen up, Generators and MGs:
You are here to elevate the world. ✨

When you follow what lights you up, your energy becomes so juicy, delicious, sparkly and magnetic. And that irresistible energy is what elevates the world.

But that's not the message you get as a kid.

Generators (and many MGs) are born knowing they are here to lift people up. And, as little kids, they are celebrated for doing things they don't want to do (like setting the table when they'd rather be playing or giving away their favorite toy). So, they get the message that they're supposed to lift people up by sacrificing themselves.

Nope.
 

That's called people-pleasing. It seems nice, but it's basically the equivalent of giving someone a parking spot.

So, you get to choose: Sacrifice yourself and give someone a parking spot OR follow what lights you up and ELEVATE THE WORLD WHILE FEELING AMAZING.

It'll look different for everyone, but here's how one client describes allowing herself to live a fully lit up sparklyAF life.
