It's almost the new year!

Maybe you're thinking, "ummm, Kelsey, I don't know where you've been, but I've been living in 2023 for a few weeks now."

Yeah, yeah, yeah. We all turned the page to 2023, eighteen days ago, but Human Design New Year doesn't start until January 22. In fact, the energy of these last few weeks has been all about wrapping things up and clearing things out from the old year so we can start the new year with a fresh creative fire.

This “Rave New Year” begins when the sun enters gate 41.1. And this follows the movement of the sun (so it's the solar cycle , not the moon cycle we're all familiar with )

It's been a minute since we talked about money. How are you feeling about money these days?

Does it feel:

A few weeks ago, we finished up our Money Class (grab your spot on the waitlist for the next one if you want!)....and the transformations were next-level.

Recently I was asked, “What's your guilty pleasure?”

Now, none of these make me feel guilty but I do get a lot of pleasure from them.

Dark chocolate (like, reeeeally dark)

Being able to name the 7 dwarves extremely quickly (it's a good party trick)

Watching shows about people doing things really well. Like… “Is It Cake?”

Have you seen it before? It's so fun. In each episode, 3 professional bakers compete to make super realistic cakes, that resemble handbags or hamburgers or piñatas……..or really anything.

I am SO grateful for Human Design. 

My HD chart says, “When making decisions, stay the F out of your head Kelsey, and only listen to your body.”

Okay maybe not those exact words but that's how I hear them.

All of my wisdom lives in my body. Not my head. (Psst... there's a 99% chance your chart says the same thing about you. Our heads are for decoration and solving word problems. Our bodies are our trustworthy decision-making machines.) So when it comes to making decisions, I shouldn't just think about it. Or think things through. Or think….

I need to feel. 

When I was in grad school on the coast of North Carolina, I signed up for my first triathlon because this MG needed something to focus on beyond her Masters thesis.

For my first long ride, I parked in a Hardees parking lot and headed out on my mountain bike. As I started out, I kept noticing the names of the hotels and apartment complexes I passed, names like "Windy Shores" and "Breezy Acres."

The names meant nothing to me…until I turned around on my bike 45 minutes later and started heading back to my car. 

Suddenly I was pedaling into a fierce headwind -- I felt like I was in one of those red & yellow plastic kid cards from the 90s.

So because 2023 is all about clarity and ease, I wanted to give YOU clarity and ease around the different ways to work with me, to hit all of your 2023 goals and visions:

I loooove this time of year! My tree is up, lights are twinkling outside, and cheesy Christmas movies are playing nonstop. And I LOVE Christmas movies.

Give me all the cheese. Give me all the city girl in small town vibes. Give me all the flannel.

I, of course, get cozy on the couch with my puppy and my husband. I then watch the magic unfold as love starts to bloom.

But like every Christmas movie, there's always a conflict to get through before you get to the cute happy ending.

I don't have to remind you that 2023 is just around the corner…

Wherever you are in your feelings about saying goodbye to 2022 and hello to 2023, I am willing to bet “clarity” and “ease” are on your wish list…
