Do you remember "Choose Your Own Adventure" books? They were some of my favorites. For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to shout from the rooftops, "there's more than one way to do the thing!" And Choose Your Own Adventure books gave me options. I love options.

So I'm not sure if you've noticed or not…..but I added a fun little, “Choose Your Adventure” portion to my website!

One of my favorite Valentine's Days was a few years ago when we were traveling around the country in a camper.

While I was riding my bike outside, my husband Pete surprised me by covering the entire ceiling of the camper with pink hearts. He had written sweet Valentine's Day messages on each heart.

He knows me so well. Surprise, delight and words of affirmation are the keys to my heart.

One year ago today, we received a magical text, telling us that Zumi had just entered Earth School. We met him for the first time just two hours later. 

Since, then, this boy has brought more joy and excitement into our lives than we ever expected.

Zumi is such a gift--literally. Makai, our soul dog, picked Zumi out and sent him to us through a series of powerful, loving events. The experience taught me how to really truly receive the most incredible gift I can imagine--A PUPPY.

I do most of my triathlon training on my own, staying in my own lane.

Having this solo time helps me be 100% present in my body, feeling my breathing, my heart rate, my muscles and my sweat.

But when I get to train with friends on Sundays, it is straight We ride together and we rise together. Things get a little spicy on our group rides as we inspire each other to be better and better.

Why did you do it?

According to “How Stuff Works” (it's totally legit), around 2.2 million new book titles are added to the shelf every year.

That's a whole lot of books.

And yet you're sitting there, in your comfy chair, suffering through the pain of finishing the 1 book in your lap, even though you dread it……every single time you open it!

My grandmother passed away when I was in college. And I remember that day so clearly. 

I can still picture my teeny tiny dorm room – on the 8th floor of "the tower."

When it happened, I remember a deep inner knowing that she had transitioned.

But no one told me that she had passed.

In fact, my very loving parents waited three days to tell me, because they didn't want to distract me in the middle of exams.

But I KNEW. And that freaked me the F out.
