You probably know that I'm a triathlete. (AKA "a psycho")

Triathlon is an endurance sport, which means that racing triathlon is all about pushing your body harder and harder while a part of your brain is strongly suggesting you just freaking sit down.

Ridiculous, right? I know. I love it so much.

A few weeks ago, I went to Milwaukee to compete at Nationals. I raced an Olympic distance triathlon on Saturday and a sprint distance triathlon on Sunday.

There's something you don't know about me. 

If we've only met through zoom, you've probably seen me wearing a bland tank top. You might be able to see a hint of a neon bra strap, but you're missing my shorts. I LOVE BRIGHT COLORS. Everything orange, neon yellow or some sort of mix of all the sunrise colors—yes, please!

Summertime here in Florida is HOT. 

But do I let that stop me from running and cycling and swimming? Hell no.

I was 8 miles into a very hot run, a few days ago, when two cyclists passed me and I heard them say, “that girl is a psycho. She must be a triathlete.”

That made me smile so big!

August is officially HERE!

And I thought I'd give all my Generator and MG friends some things to respond to.

A few weeks ago, as I was getting ready for bed, I got a nudge to make sure that I'd put my phone on airplane mode. Pete and the pups were all snuggled in bed while I went out to the kitchen. I picked up my phone (which was on airplane mode) and this love note tumbled out into my notes app. Well played, universe, well played.
